Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaands!

College life. If you were to give it a single name, or rather, describe it with an adjective, what would it be? I cant think of any. :| I’ve met an assortment of people, portraying different personas in my degree college. Here are a few of ‘em. Mind, they are in no particular order.

Libby - Sits right in the front, right beside the door. Handy for a quick escape. She’s ok. :P

- Juvenile.

Febina - One of the first girls who spoke to me. I still remember her extending out her hand and introducing herself. Now, every other time she sees me, gives me a hug and a peck on my check.

- Innocent, apparently.

Aditya - Sits next to the window. Not so handy for a quick escape. Thinks I dominate him, like whatever that means. :|

- Bah!

Elluru - Shilpa. She likes swapping “buzz”. Tags Bisha like, forever.

- Vulnerable.

Bisha - Another front bencher. A real funny girl. Loves to have fun. Plays "Mamma" for us sometimes. =))

- Double juvenile.

Shubham - A nice guy.Tries to be real funny. Succeeds a few times. But I like him. Period. He and Ankit share a flat, where I hope to cook sometime. =)

- Irritable, but likable also.

Ankit - Labeled as the “Class Flirt”. A real nice guy. Always a ready smile on his face. Aids Shubham on his spree of irritating us all.

- Funny.

Smitha - One girl who’s quite hard to understand. ‘Nough said.

- Perplexing.

Pandu - Oye Pandu! :D A guy who minds his stuff. I forget that bag of his. :D And yeah, a great dancer!!! =))

- Oye!

Akshay - The CR. I emphasize that a lot.. and a lot of times. :P Vibes, is what I get. *shudders*

- Quiet.

Soumya - Another of my good friends. Keeps reminding me to wear my shades. Er.. my spectacles. :P :|

- Trusty.

Viju - Sticks to the point. I like that.

- :)

Barsha - Dresses like a tomboy. Might even be one. I do like her, though. :)

- Friendly enough.

Priya - :D Speaks out. Bunks every other math class. Bah! Bunks every other class.

- Nice. =))

Shalu - A really really quiet girl. Shhh.. don’t talk. I cant hear her talking.

- An ideal student.

Mishra - Ashwani. Plays a lot of pranks on the others. I call him by his surname. Be wary of your cell phone!

- Mishra bhai! :)

Aakash - Known him for more than 2 years now. We don’t talk about our different pasts.

- A not-lost friend.

Ramya - I want to be as tall as her! :( A girl who shares my thoughts, most of the time, anyway.

- Tall!!!

Kishen - A sportsman. Like, into sports.

- Umm..

Akash - The laugh riot of the class, if I may say so. His smile makes you think of all silly things. Played volleyball grinning.

- LOL!

All of them are really really really good. I love them all.

I know I’ve missed out on most of you guys ( Like you’ll ever read this). But hey! I might remember you like, forever.

Gravity

Love this song. :) :) :)

Description: Ending Song

Performed by: Maaya Sakamoto
Lyrics: Troy
Composition, Arrangement: Youko Kanno

The Wolf's Rain closing theme version omits lines 9 - 14...

The lyrics...

Been a long road to follow
been there and gone tomorrow
without saying goodbye to yesterday
are the memories I hold still valid?
or have the tears deluded them?
maybe this time tomorrow
the rain will cease to follow
and the mist will fade into one more today
something somewhere out there keeps calling
am I going home?
will I hear someone singing solace to the silent moon?
zero gravity what's it like?
am I alone?
is somebody there beyond these heavy aching feet
still the road keeps on telling me to go on
something is pulling me
I feel the gravity of it all

Looking glass

My sister finally made it into the dance group for her school annual day. She now comes home really tired. On one such particular evening...

Sis : My leg’s hurting! (Tries her hand at wailing).
Mamma : Come here, I’ll make it go.
Sis : Is there moov? (She meant the balm)
Mamma : Yes, Papa has got a new tube.

*Mamma gets a phone call... *

Mamma : I’ll ask Papa to massage... I’ll be back.
Sis : No! you do it! (Puts on her long face)
Papa : Come here...

*Sis continues to wail*

*I take my gaze off the glass*

Me : Abhi, lets name them.
Sis : Tch! (Puts on a “My leg is paining... don’t talk silly” look)
Me : Come on... look, we’ll start with these two.

*Papa escapes*

Sis : Ok.. we’ll name them “Angel”
Me : But there are two of them...
Sis : They are alike!
Me : No.. see this one? It’s got a few streaks of white on it.

*Sis takes a closer look*

Sis : Right akka!
Me : I told you...
Sis : ok.. one is Angel.
Me : Other? Fairy?
Sis : No... “Angie”
Me : Angie sounds silly... Fairy

*Sis ponders for a few moments..*

Sis : Ok.. Fairy and Angel... the full black one is Angel.. the one with the white streaks is Fairy.
Me : Ok!

*Sis smiles... the aching of the leg long forgotten...*

Sis : See... Angel and Fairy are always together...! They don’t move... lazy they are!
Me : I know! (Grins)
Sis : What shall we name the others? The orange one? Lets call it “ Pony”!

*I don’t voice out my thought that a “Pony” suits a horse better*

Me : Ok.. whatever.

*Sis smiles... I smile back...*
*Mamma comes back and sits next to her... I tell her in sign language about the forgotten leg pain... Mamma smiles*

*I continue gazing through the glass whilst my Sis tries her best at naming the rest of them*

Untiltled

I've got less than ten days before I see those "faces" again. I don't want to! I mean, I don't like them, they don't like me, period. The first semester has already gone by, the second one is commencing now, and I've spoken to only two of them. I don't like the rest. The rest don't like me (I'll keep emphasizing on that, yes). Of the whole lot, very few are worth it. The fact is, its pretty much damn obvious. When its out in the open like it is now, there's no room for any complexities, which I am glad for. But the fact remains that there exists mutual revulsion.

If this semester turns out to be any different than the last, well, guess I'll just have to welcome the change.

PS - If you don't know me, you don't know what am talking about.
PS2 - No, its not who you think it is.

Role play

Ana Lucia Cortez(LOST)
Ana is depicted as that tough girl on the outside, but a sensitive one on the inside. Previously, she’d have been an officer. Ana always played the bad cop. Her’s was a governing personality.

Phoebe Buffay(F.R.I.E.N.D.S.)
Pheebs is kinda a ‘hippie’. Her character is that of a dumb woman.A masseuse and a guitar player! I just love her body language... you know, the way she uses her hands, a fluid motion in them.

Albus Dumbledore(Harry Potter)
The enigmatic head master, who believed in speaking a few, well chosen words. ‘nough said.

Dee-Dee(Dexter’s lab)
The seemingly silly sister of an apparently born genius. She’s tall. “Oh! What does this button do?” – her favorite line. Think its still aired on CN.

Ryu Amakusa(Detective school Q)
The hushed boy of the group. Great deducing skills. A mystery in person, if I may say so.

The squirell!

You are taking a stroll through a park when a tiny squirrel jumps out of nowhere. Where do you think the squirrel was a second earlier?

C

Here is the analysis:

You are very direct, which might freak them out. Something along the lines of "Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror?" might slip from your lips.

LOL!
